Scope
This policy covers the AMC Farms Hay Stack Alerts program operated by AMC Farms LLC in Brawley, California. It explains how AMC handles personal information for internal operational SMS alerts.
Information collected
AMC collects a participant's name, mobile phone number, dated enrollment consent, and any withdrawal of consent. The program also creates message content and delivery records needed to send alerts, diagnose delivery problems, and document the recipient's messaging choices.
How information is used
AMC uses this information to enroll consenting staff, send hay-stack alerts, maintain the recipient list, provide support, honor opt-outs, and document consent. Phone numbers and consent records are not used for marketing.
Sharing and access
AMC does not sell SMS participant information or share mobile numbers, opt-in information, or consent records with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Information necessary to deliver and operate the alerts is processed by Microsoft Azure Communication Services, mobile carriers, and service providers supporting delivery.
AMC limits access to its participant list and consent records to authorized personnel who administer or support the program. Participant phone numbers, signatures, and completed consent forms are not published on this website. Information may be disclosed when required by law.
Retention
AMC retains consent records during enrollment and for two years after enrollment ends. Routine delivery logs held by AMC are retained for 90 days. Minimal opt-out records are retained while the program operates to prevent unwanted re-enrollment. Microsoft and carriers may retain records under their own policies or applicable requirements.
These periods apply to the SMS program's records, not the underlying farm or hay-stack records. AMC may retain relevant records longer when required by law or to resolve a specific dispute.
Your choices
Enrollment is voluntary. Reply STOP to an alert or contact AMC to withdraw consent. You can also ask AMC to correct your phone number or delete information that is no longer needed. AMC may retain consent or minimal opt-out records as described above.
